This wallet feels like it's made of good quality leather, but after putting just a few cards in it, it becomes so think that it doesn't want to stay shut and is uncomfortable in the pocket. See the pictures. My previous wallet held the same amount of stuff, but could lay flat and was significantly thinner. I won't be keeping this wallet, unfortunately, although I really do like how it looks otherwise!
Without anything in it this is a moderately slim wallet. However if you have a number of bills or cards, it will start to get thick pretty quickly. I can also see where the billfold pocket will wear and possibly tear because its not designed with much give to become a thick wallet. But if you can keep it under 5 bills and 5 cards this wallet is fine.
